Weight training

Weight training is one of the best ways to burn fat and build muscle simultaneously. Although it may be intimidating to enter the weighted area of the gym, it’s totally worth it. Before going to a gym, I suggest doing some research on what body parts you want to work on, and what are the best exercises to work those parts out. My weight training regime focuses on the following body parts: legs (quads, calves, hamstrings), back (upper, lower, lats), arms (biceps, triceps, deltoids), shoulders (traps), and abs (upper, lower, obliques).


 This is what my typical weight training schedule look like for a week:

Monday – Back, arms, abs + cardio
Tuesday – Legs, abs
Wednesday – Shoulders, arms, abs + cardio
Thursday – Rest day
Friday – Back, arms, abs + cardio
Saturday – Legs, abs
Sunday – Shoulders, arms, abs + cardio
